Using a new features in analytics/ week2

Which are the most significant new Google Analytics features :

Dan Barker(EBusinssConsultant): in google there will be 50 announced  updates.
The biggest 3 in every website were:
1)Tool to to migrate from"classic" analytics to "universal"-not mixed messages, able to retain to historical data.

2)Demographic segmentation: Not perfect, it is broadly indicative. people pay this short data

3)Improved education content: Helping people use google Analytics, setting educational resourcs, videos. GA are used from a small percentage of users, but this will change.

There are some chanes that did not apply to everyone:

1) Event tracking hrough tag manager a little more easily: risky, it is away from yhe development team and across markets.
2) BigQuery integration to allow export raw data and query it directly. Accidently leanked by an Econsultancy blogger.
3)Double click display information import: display data in multi-channel report.
4) Play store integration:specifically for Android app owners.
5) API to programatically  set up/ manage analytics accounts and users: fantastic from companies with larger range of skills, apply clients easily, manage accounts centrally.
Peter O'Neill: stated that different announcements benefit different people eg:API for agencies.

Damioun Brown (Econsultancy Trainer and web analytics consultant): Google Tag Manager announcement can support Event Tracking withouti any changes. In small senarios it is usefull, but in enterprise environment with changes & testing takes a lotng time-process. GA use of events, where Google Tag Manager for past events.

Demographic reports can:

1) give new data to every website owner, demographic reports are really important, by Dan Barker. Demographic segmentation are on top and are sophisticated and simple
2) Damiom Brown: biggest impact  for marketers in order of money, seing reports in GA it is too potential. Demographic filter is really important.

Google holds users and profiles by doubleclicking people can find the data that they are looking for. eay to find data, social reports, and even comment anonymous. In the UK it is legal in some other countries(Germany) it is not.
Peter O'Neill: Believes that it dies not get in privacy, and it does not push people to paid search.
Damiom Brown: Publicity implicatin can display advertising.

Changes help average online businesses:
1) Dan Barket: the "classic" to "universal" tool will improve education. changes will be limited.
2) Damiom Brown: Demographics are usefull for businesses and websites. some stuff are behing the scenes.

Overall, my opinion is that the world is changing. Everything in the future will become easier with the technology improvement. All data will be able in the websites so access on diffetrent information will be more quickly accessed, with less cost and more accurate.

Hans Rosling

Hans Rosling-  The best statue you've ever seen

Hans was representing the Global Health in Sweden. A pretest took place in order to find the country with the highest child mortality. The diagram was from 1962 until 2003.China and India have the biggest population. Also it stated that from the research it was shown that in the Western World people had long lifes and small lifes where in the Third World people had small lifes and bigger families as in Vietnam. By the moving of the years (2000) we have bigger lifes and smaller families. Also was mention that there was not a distibution between poor and rich people in the research.

I found this video really useful and intresting. It was abou the whole world. Many countries where stated, income, the GDP and how equal people are in diffrent countries either because the income, the way of living or by the country that they are living. Lastly, the most important was the measurment from the child survivals which has been increased.
